La Chosen Youth Football League Code of Conduct

(6U–12U Division)

Purpose

To promote a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for all players, coaches, parents, and spectators. The La Chosen League is committed to instilling discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and integrity in every child who takes the field.

NOTE: All parents and guardians who will be participating in the forthcoming La Chosen season are highly encouraged to share the following Code of Conduct with their children.

1. Player Code of Conduct

As a La Chosen player, I vow to:

• Always give 100% effort in practice and games, whether during a play or while my coach is speaking.

• Practice good sportsmanship and be kind in both victory and defeat.

• Respect other players, coaches, fans, and officials—regardless of race, gender, creed, or ability.

• Follow the rules of the game, even when others may not.

• Hold my head high regardless of the outcome, knowing I gave my best.

In addition, I agree to:

• Show good sportsmanship at all times — win or lose.

• Respect my teammates, opponents, referees, and coaches.

• Never use bad language, fight, or argue with referees.

• Play safely, listen to my coaches, and strive to improve every day.

• Have fun and represent La Chosen with pride.

As a coach, I agree to:

• Be a positive role model, teaching not only football skills but life values.

• Never yell at or belittle players, referees, or parents.

• Encourage effort, teamwork, and discipline in all situations.

• Be punctual, prepared, and hold players accountable with fairness.

• Promptly report injuries or incidents to league officials.
